An Executive committee has been set up to organise, promote and execute the aims & objectives of the project. Various positions were also created by engaging the committee members for successful operation of the project.

The DDF will be governed by an Advisory Committee to closely work with the executive committee and the research cell. The advisory committee will consult with local experts to ensure the transparency and quality of operation. The President and other key members are responsible to find and involve knowledgeable and good profile clean image people to engage in the Advisory Committee.

Profiles of the Executive Committee

Prof. Aliar Hossain (President of the DDF)

Aliar took the initiatives for this project and discussed with various local professionals and local stakeholders at Narayanganj. They honoured Aliar to take the responsibility for overall operation and successful delivery of the project as President. He has the authority to engage external professionals, agencies and suppliers as required.

Aliar’s mission is to raise public awareness for good governance, fight against corruption, the concept of global citizenship, importance of doing business ethically and the significance of sustainable development in the global village.

Aliar has a track record to work with UK mainstream Universities and many other International Universities as a senior Academic Leader, Policy Development, Leadership Coach and researcher for many years. Aliar has visited numerous UK and Asian Universities, Colleges and both political and non-political organisations as International Speaker for Change Management, Corporate Social Responsibility, Leadership Development, Empowerment and Delegation, Corporate Culture, Globalisation and Sustainable Development issues. I have trained numerous Business Directors, Senior Executives from local Governments, Political Leaders and Business Leaders both in the EU and Asia. He has numerous publications including two books (Sustainable Development Handbook- A South Asian Perspective and Developing the Ministerial Mindset: A Global View) which are available on google search.

He is a Professor of Strategy, SDG’s Consultant and a Geo-political Expert. He has professional engagement with the Institute of Business Consulting, Chartered Management Institute (professional body for all business consultants, Senior Business Leaders and Policy makers), Certified Business Educators and Senior fellow of Higher Education Academy in the UK.

He is also a life member of Narayanganj Diabetic Association and Tanjim Association. He is also an active member of Narayanganj Club since 2003 and took many initiatives to promote ethical business and good leadership amongst Club Members and Executive Committee Member.  He is also the founder of DPI Project (established in 2017).

Barrister Mahdi Hasan (Executive Committee Member)

Mahdi is involved as Press & Publication Director to oversee the publication, appointing an editor and public relation of the project. He is responsible for promote the project concept to the regulatory bodies, pressure groups and ensure the copyright issues of the brand.

Mahadi is a barrister-at-law, technology enthusiast, avid traveller and a television presenter. He was called to the English bar as a barrister from The Honourable Society of Lincoln’s Inn. He achieved an MBA in Finance and International Business from a prestigious UK university. He also studied philosophy in Oxford University; constitutional crisis in Muslim world with Copenhagen University, Nano Technology with Rice University, New York, and entrepreneurship with University of Maryland, USA.

As an aspiring lawyer Mahadi advises domestic and international clients on commercial, real estate, alternative dispute resolution and litigation in London. He also has worked in finance and banking in United Kingdom, and with Google as a Chromebook expert. He is now writing a book on entrepreneurship challenges and opportunities for young entrepreneurs in Bangladesh. Mahadi aims to bring his knowledge, skills and expertise in a wider range of industries in the United Kingdom to benefit Bangladeshi businesses, social workers and entrepreneurs.

Ifsar Hossain (Member of the Executive Committee)

A passionate tech enthusiast and Computer Science graduate from the University of Melbourne, Ifsar Hossain brings a strong background in both software development and cybersecurity. He has gained industry experience through roles at leading organisations, including Telstra—Australia’s largest telecommunications company—and Atlassian, one of the world’s top software development firms.

Currently, Ifsar is working as a Software Security Engineer at Atlassian, where he continues to build secure and innovative digital solutions.

Beyond his professional work, Ifsar is also dedicated to social impact. He has served as the Secretary of the Melbourne University Bangladeshi Student Society, actively participated in various tech clubs, and led a road safety initiative through the Bangladesh Youth Leadership Centre in Dhaka.
